Background and Experience
After many years as a corporate marketing consultant, I transitioned into real estate in 2005. What began as an interest in homes and real estate investing soon grew into a calling as I discovered how much I enjoyed helping older adults navigate important housing decisions later in life.
To better serve this market, I earned the SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation, continued my education through the Seniors Real Estate Institute, obtained the CSHP (Certified Senior Housing Professional) designation, and trained in areas such as senior financing, housing options, and home safety.
How I Help Seniors
Over time, I realized I could make a meaningful difference for seniors who felt overwhelmed by downsizing, moving, and sorting through a house full of memories. As someone in a similar stage of life, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to this process. There has to be some benefits of being older.
I also made it a priority to learn about senior living communities so I could help clients not only find a smaller or single-level home, but also identify the right senior community for their needs, preferences, and lifestyle. By offering both services, I can simplify the process and reduce the need for clients to work with multiple providers.
Today, my services are designed to support clients through every stage of transition, including:
· Finding a home that fits their next chapter of life
· Identifying the right assisted living or senior community
· Coordinating downsizing, relocation, and the logistics of a move
· Guiding home-sale decisions based on the client’s goals and timeframe
